The book unravels the mysteries of the new system and analyzes the impact that it may have on property transactions and corporate take-overs, especially given the Government policy of regeneration and the building of 60% of new housing stock on brown field sites. It also looks at the implications of the new regime from the point of view of site-owners, operators, lenders, consultants and professional advisers. À propos de l'auteur: Trevor Hellawell is a solicitor and legal training consultant working with the College of Law and other clients. Until 1999 he was a full-time lecturer with the College, ending his career as a Principal Lecturer at the York branch. He has lectured extensively on environmental law, and continues to advise clients on environmental compliance issues. He sits on The Law Society's Planning and Environmental Law Committee and is the author of the Law Society's Environmental Law Handbook, now in its third edition.
