Synopsis
Blessings! is a collection of songs, poems, and moments of awareness telling the eternal love between the Spiritual Master and the Disciple. The love that the Master endlessly pours is unconditional and pure. The disciples receive so much nourishment from this that they can only respond with total devotion, living and sharing the teachings. The collection, primarily written between 1988 and 1992, with some previous and later contributions, is compiled in alphabetical order because, over time, I’ve lost track of the chronological composing sequence and needed help to reconstruct it. In 1989, the Master dropped his name, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, adopting the one of Osho, which replaced the previous one from that moment. Osho is an ancient and traditional honorific of Zen. It means ‘my respects to you, multidimensional state of consciousness’ used whenever the Disciple turned to the Master. Once, when the Master was sick, and I didn’t know what else to do, I wrote him a message: Be well, beloved Master. That’s all; I never expect anything in return and forget about it.
Several days later, I felt something from him was there for me in the main office. I quickly entered it and searched the messages drawer, and there was a small note for me. My heart throbbed with bliss, and my lips smiled. I opened it, and there was only one word written: blessings! I’m in ecstasy! The pleasure is so great that I have to put it down somehow, and this compilation was born, which I naturally dedicate to Osho. PS: Female devotees inspired some of the songs.

Swami Prem Sandesh, Andrea Scarsi, is a mystic writer and musician, and a spiritual therapist, who uses his works to share a dimension of being and lifestyle that are based on meditation and communion with the absolute.
