À propos de l'auteur: Michael G. Walling joined the Coast Guard after graduating college in 1970. He served for six years as a commissioned officer. He has spent the last forty years studying World War II and the Great Depression that caused it. He has also spent much of that time talking with hundreds of veterans from all the military services. Currently he is a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and a volunteer with Coast Guard Search and Rescue boat crews once a month. Hometown: Hudson, Massachusetts
