The Body of 9 describes a body-based process to better understand ourselves. If you’ve ever asked: Who am I, really? Why do I think and act the way that I do? How can I better understand myself, others, and the world around me? Discover the answers to these questions in The Body Of 9, a comprehensive guide to a new understanding of your personal identity.
Learning about the Body of 9 will enable you to:- Connect more deeply with your inner self
- Communicate more effectively with your family and friends
- Work more cohesively with coworkers
- Find harmony and resilience in romantic relationships
- Pursue passions and careers that suit your unique gifts
- Live your most authentic and inspired life
There are 9 regions in the body that have a direct impact on the way we experience life. We are born with one active region. Active regions are referred to as Natural Numbers. Most readers will be able to self-identify their own Natural Number and learn how their body informs their experience of the world.
Readers will learn how to support, engage and parent those possessing each Natural Number, and will learn a variety of applications for personal growth and development. Knowing our Natural Number and learning how to access the power and strength of our body's wisdom creates a simple way to get back to our core - where our resilience resides.
With this understanding, you will be ready to show up authentically and build deeper connections with friends, partners, family, and co-workers. You will be able to appreciate the nine vastly different perspectives, passions, skills, and gifts of others in personal and professional settings.
After extensive study spanning people of many ages, ethnicities, and cultures, the context presented in The Body of 9 submits a simple observation: there are more than seven billion people in the world, but only nine physiologically different presentations: nine kinds of bodies. Which one are you?
About the Authors:Susan and Martin Fisher have devoted over ten years of research and study to the Body of 9. Together, they have worked with over 7000 people, distilling detailed descriptions of all nine Natural Numbers. Through their exploration, teaching, and training, they have organized this knowledge into a clear, comprehensive, and actionable system. Susan and Martin speak and teach about the Body of 9 all around the world. They work with individuals, couples, families, and businesses sharing this important information.
Susan Bennett Fisher is a lifelong student of personal transformation. With a degree in Mathematical Economics from Brown University, and an MBA/MA in Finance and International Management from the Lauder Institute at the Wharton School of Business, she pursued a career in management consulting, high-tech marketing, finance and corporate operations in Silicon Valley. When Susan's Natural Number 6 was first activated in 2002, she knew she had found her purpose. Understanding her purpose has led her on a long journey to study, research, develop and write about this body of knowledge.
Martin Fisher has been mapping his framework of human knowledge since he first learned to read. Born in the United Kingdom, he attended the University of Manchester, obtaining a degree in Computation. Martin worked at Oracle and Yahoo from 1985-2000 and then, ran his own Technical and Managerial/Business consulting firm. After learning that he had Natural Number 5 in 2007, Martin realized that his new role was to help others to understand the Body of 9 as a context that empowers us to live more richly and authentically.
Together Susan and Martin have continued as pioneers in the study and research into the 9 Natural Numbers, leading to many new discoveries and a deeper understanding of the importance, power and impact of the Body of 9.
