Charles Redstart had it all - a successful Harley Street practice, a rich wife, two children and a lifestyle envied by many. However, his experiments using computers in psychiatry would have catastrophic effects on himself and on those whose paths he crossed.
À propos de l?auteur: Brian Smith was born in Buckinghamshire but has lived most of his life in various Essex locations. When he left school he worked for a few years as a pharmacy technician, dispensing medicines in busy East London chemist’s shops. He went into the early commercial computer industry; first as a mainframe operator, progressing to programming and systems analysis. Not being a corporate person, he went freelance, supplying consultancy to all manner of commercial and public bodies. His path took him to recruitment and management, from which he retired in 2001 after a 35 year career. He then wrote a series of short stories, Brain Dump being the longest, with the intention of self-publishing them one day. His leisure interests include music (of many genres), photography, reading, classic cars (a Chevrolet Corvette and a Rover 3.5 Litre Coupé), travel, real ale, malt whisky, wine and food appreciation. He is an enthusiastic broadcaster and has presented on a variety of local radio stations. He lives with his wife and their daughter’s family on an equestrian property in rural Norfolk, England.
