Dean Carson is a comedian, professional storyteller, and former investigative journalist from Ireland. He performs around the world, and many of those locations filter into his thrillers. As a journalist he covered the drugs war in Limerick city in the early naughties, which cost several lives. His debut book, on that war, was a bestseller, and the most shoplifted book in Ireland. He has written extensively on true crime, and that intimate knowledge of the criminal underworld lends authenticity to his fiction. Dean is also part of the Global Warrior citizen science initiative, and has travelled extensively in the Arctic.
