Amazon Reviews:
"Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children, or children who can read will enjoy this book. Buzzy reveals all the feelings that all of us might feel when we are moving from one place to another. The illustrations by Fatima Stomato, are beautiful, bright, vivid and colorful. They depict all the adventures of Buzzy and Thomas."
"My daughter and I enjoyed this wonderful book about Thomas Jefferson's move to the President's House from Monticello, told from the point of view of Jefferson's dog Buzzy. My daughter especially enjoyed the happy ending when Buzzy realized he did indeed have a friend in his new home. Looking forward to more Historical Tails!"
"I bought this book to read to my grandson who will start first grade in September. He loves books about real people and I think he will enjoy this book very much. The pictures were just beautiful and the story was interesting. I would recommend this for students who might be researching one of the Presidents or for any child who enjoys books about pets and their owners. Well done."
"This is a great way to get children interested in history. Linking animals into historical figures lives makes it easy for children to see that famous people are just like them."

À propos de l’auteur
Inspiration struck Vicki Tashman 4 years ago when her daughter graduated from college and moved back home with 2 cats in tow. She imagined the cats belonging to Cleopatra and, wow, the stories they could tell! After researching many people in history, she settled on writing her first book about Thomas Jefferson and his dog, Buzzy. Other books in the works are about Queen Victoria and her dog, Dash, the Wright Brothers and their dog, Flyer and Benjamin Franklin and his squirrel, Mungo. Vicki has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado. She is a breast cancer survivor and has been an advocate for 10 years. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Children's Book Writers of Los Angeles (CBW-LA) and the Publisher's Association of Los Angeles (PALA). She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their 2 golden retrievers, Ricky and Georgia.
