Extra illustrated with 12 hand-colored plates of Chinese scenes and people. Fold-out hand colored map in vol. 1. Condition is VERY GOOD ; leather supple and joints both excellent. Spines show just a touch of surface dryness. Spine labels all excellent. Covers very clean with a little minor wear. Bindings tight. Text and plates bright, clean and unmarked.
