Prof. Amal Saad-Hussein (MD) graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. She is currently a Professor of environmental and preventive medicine. Formerly, she was a Dean of Environment and Climate Change Research Institute (2016-2020), and Head of Environmental and Occupational Medicine Department (2011-2016). She has 97 peer reviewed international publications, 22 peer reviewed national publications, and 5 chapters in two books published by Springer. She is the editor of a book published by Springer (2023). In addition, she has delivered numerous oral presentations in numerous national and international meetings. She is member in the Egyptian Environmental Research Council (since 2021), member in the Egyptian Council for Climate Change, Egypt (2019-2021), and member in the National Committee of Toxicology (since 2011). She is also the vice-president of Egyptian Society of Environmental Mutagens, and member in Egyptian Medical Women Association Board.
Prof. Osama El-Tawil is currently a President of National Committee of Toxicology, Professor and Chairman of Toxicology and Forensic Medicine Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University. He is an adjunct Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at University of Louisville, WHO expert for updating the global air quality guidelines, member and expert observer for Global European International Network to promote use of dust monitoring and forecasting products. He is Vice President for the Pan Africa Environmental Mutagen and Genomic Society. He is a member in many scientific and research committees. He is reviewer and member of advisory board for governmental and non-governmental authorities and institutions, and international reviewer for many scientific journals. He has been awarded and honored national and international awards, and has more than 75 peer-reviewed international and national publications.
Prof. El-Sayed A. El-Sheikh graduated from Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, Egypt. He has conducted postdoctoral research in the University of California, Davis and the University of Missouri. He is currently a Professor of Pesticides Biotechnology and Environmental Toxicology and Head of Plant Protection Department at Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University. He is the coordinator of the National Committee of Toxicology at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and a member of Zagazig University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (ZU-IACUC). El-Sheikh has more than 50 publications in the field of environmental toxicology, and pesticide toxicology and residues. He is an editorial board member of several journals and a peer-reviewer in several international publishers. His research is currently focusing on the detection of pesticide residues in environment using immunoassays and their relationship to climate change.
