From Lord Melvyn Bragg's special beans on toast and John Cleese's frightfully complicated cornflakes, to Anthony Horowitz's mother's scalding turkey soup, there is a recipe, revelation or ruination for all occasions here. Entertaining, but above all useful, "Cook-a-Story: A Bleddfa Cook Book" is the brainchild of theatre director and founder of the Bleddfa Centre in Wales, James Roose-Evans. Personalities and celebrities from all over the UK have shared hilarious, practical and sometimes traumatic food-related anecdotes and recipes. With a preface by Gordon Ramsey and delightful illustrations by Quentin Blake, this is a must for every foody out there.

Devised and edited by James Roose-Evans, with a preface by Gordon Ramsey.
