It seems to the author that of the two branches of the calculus, thee integral calculus is the richer, both mathematically and applicability to the physical sciences and engineering. It is therefore the primary objective of this boo to introduce the student to the fundamental concept of the integral as limit of a sum at as early a stage as seems pedagogically practicable. Book is in good condition, free of any markings, with the exception on the first page where a name has been marked through with a black marker.
