A collection of poems, sentiments and chromolithograph prints from the disbound scrapbook of Miss Emma Hews. Most poems are dated in the very early 1880's and originate from Gloucester Street, Ottawa, Harmony Cottage, Windsor House, Ottawa, etc. Consisting of 27 prints, 21 poems and sentiments written in ink, and a trimmed front cover. Most items with toning, creasing and edge wear, with perhaps some glue residue verso (some noted with verse on both sides) else good throughout. A nice collection of personal sentiments, addressed to a young Canadian girl living in eastern Canada in the early 1800's.
