In-8 broché de 75, V, [2] pp. Édition originale du catalogue du premier salon de la Rose-Croix.Reproduction des ?uvres exposées de Fernand Khnopf, Ferdiand Hodler, Hnri Martin, Jean Delvile, Alexandre Séon, Antoine Bourdelles, Charles Filiger, Félix Valloton, Alphonse Osbert, Armand Point, Jean Toorop, Edmond Aman-Jean, Albert Trachsel, Eugène Grasset, Emile Bernard, Georges Rouault, Carlos Schwabe, Rogelio de Egusquiza, etc.Après s?être complètement dissocié de la Rose-Croix Kabbalistique de Stanislas de Guaita pour les divergences idéologiques, Péladan fait publier les statuts du salon de le Rose-Croix en août 1891 afin de pouvoir organiser des expositions de beaux-arts. Les signataires sont Péladan lui-même, Gary de Lacroze, Elémir Bourges, le comte Léonce de Larmandie et le comte Antoine de la Rochefoucauld.Le premier salon de la Rose-Croix eut lieu du 10 mars au 10 avril 1892 dans la galerie de Paul Durand-Ruel à Paris, en réaction au Salon des artistes français et à celui de la société nationale des Beaux-Arts. Il eut un retentissement important dans le monde de l?Art. Le Tout-Paris s?y précipita.Les dernières pages présentent le programme des soirées (le plus souvent musicales).Très bel exemplaire.
