Chapter House Books was founded in 1988 and has since grown into the largest general second hand bookshop in the Sherborne area. We do not specialise in any particular subject but like to keep a very diverse stock of over 30,000 books, Modern and Antiquarian, both Hardbacks and Paperbacks. We also stock used Sheet Music, CDs and DVDs. We are still cataloguing our stock so if there is a particular title you are looking for please email and we will check our shelves. We have recently opened The Sanctuary Coffee Shop which has a private Courtyard with outside seating.

Sterling (UK) Cheques (made payable to Chapter House Books please), Paypal and
most major credit cards accepted.
All Books are sent once payment has been received. Please email or telephone
before ordering to confirm availability. The book will be reserved, up to 10
days, for payment to be made.
All books are returnable within 7 days following receipt, for a full refund,

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books
weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact
you to let you know extra shipping is required. Alternatively, if the book weighs
less then the postage cost will be reduced accordingly. For overseas parcels, if
the amount quoted covers Airmail postage the book will be shipped by Airmail.
