Christie's - London, Sale title - The Bernasconi Collection of Italian Pictures and Drawings of the 19th century , Date - 27th March 1987, No. of lots - 260, No. of pages - 117, Illustrated in black and white & colour, , The collection is largely the creation of Juan and Felix Bernasconi (died 1920 and 1914, respectively). Both were pro minent in Milanese art circles at the end of the 19th and, beginning of the 20th centuries and bought extensively from contemporary painters, notably, Mos?ianchi, Luigi Rossi, Pompeo Mariani and Giorgio Belloni.
