Discover the timeless power of Jesus’ teachings through one of Ellen G. White’s most beloved spiritual masterpieces.
Christ’s Object Lessons is a rich, illuminating journey into the heart of the parables—those deceptively simple stories through which Jesus revealed the deepest truths of the kingdom of God. With clarity, warmth, and spiritual insight, Ellen White opens these familiar narratives in a way that speaks both to the mind and to the heart, making ancient lessons strikingly relevant for today’s world.
The book begins by exploring why Jesus chose to teach in parables, revealing how His stories served as both an invitation and a safeguard—offering profound truth to those willing to hear, while still protecting His message from hardened hearts. From there, White guides the reader through many of the Bible’s most cherished parables, breathing life into scenes you thought you already knew.
Her approach is twofold:
First, she paints each parable with vivid narrative detail, helping you experience the story as Christ’s listeners might have.
Then, she unpacks the deeper spiritual significance, showing how each lesson exposes the workings of the human heart, reveals God’s character, and calls us to a more authentic walk with Him.
Written in simple, accessible language and filled with practical, heart-searching wisdom, Christ’s Object Lessons is far more than a commentary—it is a spiritual companion. Whether you are new to the parables or returning to them with seasoned faith, this classic work will draw you closer to Christ, challenge complacency, and inspire a deeper desire for genuine transformation.
A devotional treasure for believers of all ages, this enduring book invites you to hear the voice of Jesus again—speaking through stories that have changed the world for centuries.
À propos de l?auteur: Ellen G. White was a woman of remarkable spiritual gifts who lived most of her life during the nineteenth century (1827-1915), yet through her writings she is still making a revolutionary impact on millions of people around the world. During her lifetime she wrote more than 5,000 periodical articles and 40 books; but today, including compilations from her 50,000 pages of manuscript, more than 100 titles are available in English. She is the most translated woman writer in the entire history of literature, and the most translated American author of either gender. Her writings cover a broad range of subjects, including religion, education, social relationships, evangelism, prophecy, publishing, nutrition, and management. Her life-changing masterpiece on successful Christian living, Steps to Christ, has been published in more than 140 languages. From the time she was 17 years old until she died 70 years later, God gave her approximately 2,000 visions and dreams. The visions varied in length from less than a minute to nearly four hours. The knowledge and counsel received through these revelations she wrote out to be shared with others. Thus her special writings are accepted by Seventh-day Adventists as inspired, and their exceptional quality is recognized even by casual readers. This remarkable woman, who met all the tests of a true prophet as set forth in the Holy Scriptures, helped found the Seventh-day Adventist church.
