His many publications include Requiem for a Lost City: Sallie Clayton's Memoirs of Civil War Atlanta and Ghosts & Shadows of Andersonville. His current projects include a biography of Colonel George Washington Lee, the controversial Confederate provost marshal of Civil War Atlanta.
