À propos de l’auteur
His Greatness Professor Patrick Businge is a philosopher of greatness, educator, and civilisational thinker whose work explores not success, but what endures. Writing at the intersection of ontology, moral philosophy, spiritual anthropology, and lived wisdom, his inquiry asks not how greatness is achieved, but how it is rightly formed, sustained, recognised, and transmitted across generations.
He is the founding architect of Greatness Studies, an original interdisciplinary field that establishes greatness as a condition of being grounded in human dignity, moral responsibility, and continuity beyond the individual. In this vision, greatness is not treated as performance, influence, or visibility, but as a moral and interior formation expressed through character, service, and responsibility to the future.
Central to his work is the creation of the Eternal Greatness Designations, a global moral framework that recognises individuals whose lives embody enduring virtue, humanitarian service, intellectual leadership, and civilisational contribution. These recognitions are presented through initiatives such as the World Greatness Awards and documented in the World Book of Greatness, preserving the stories of individuals whose lives uplift humanity.
Born in Uganda and shaped by a life that bridges continents, Professor Businge holds advanced doctoral degrees in education and philosophy. He is the Founder and Chancellor of Greatness University, the world's first canon-based institution dedicated to the study, formation, recognition, and preservation of greatness in human life.
He is the author of numerous philosophical works on greatness, honour, legacy, and civilisation. His multi-volume Canon of Eternal Greatness establishes a philosophical architecture for interior formation, covenant, stewardship, and civilisation-written not merely to motivate, but to endure. He is also the creator of the Grammar Series, a body of works exploring the "grammar" of human existence and development, examining the deeper structures through which consciousness, formation, greatness, honour, authority, and civilisation are understood.
Through his writing, teaching, and institutional work, Professor Businge seeks to contribute to a lasting intellectual tradition dedicated to the study and preservation of greatness for future generations.
Greatness University is the world's first canon-based institution dedicated to the study, formation, recognition, and preservation of greatness in human life. Founded by philosopher and educator Professor Patrick Businge, the university advances the emerging interdisciplinary field of Greatness Studies, exploring how greatness develops within individuals, is expressed in leadership, recognised in society, and preserved across generations.
Unlike traditional universities that organise knowledge primarily through academic disciplines, Greatness University is structured around a canon of foundational works that examine the deeper principles of human dignity, leadership, honour, legacy, and civilisation. This canon provides an intellectual framework for studying greatness as a condition of character rather than simply achievement, fame, or influence.
At the centre of this framework is the Canon of Eternal Greatness, a body of philosophical works exploring how individuals cultivate lives of purpose, responsibility, and service to humanity. Complementing this canon are several major book collections published through Greatness University Publishers, including The Grammar Series, which explores the underlying "grammar" of human development and civilisation, and The Greatness Series, which documents and celebrates individuals whose lives demonstrate leadership, compassion, and transformative impact.
A central initiative of the university is the World Book of Greatness, a global documentation project preserving the stories of leaders, humanitarians, innovators, and cultural figures whose contributions uplift communities and inspire future generations. The institution also leads international recognition programmes such as the World Greatness Awards and the Eternal Greatness Designations, honouring individuals whose lives embody moral leadership, humanitarian service, and civilisational influence.
Through its canonical scholarship, publications, and global initiatives, Greatness University seeks to cultivate a culture that recognises greatness as a human possibility rooted in character, service, and responsibility toward others.
Its mission is simple yet profound: to teach greatness, recognise greatness, and preserve greatness for future generations.
His Royal Majesty King Dr. Clyde Rivers is a globally recognised civility leader, humanitarian, royal diplomat, and advocate for honour-based leadership. For more than three decades he has worked internationally to promote dignity, respect, and ethical leadership as essential foundations for peaceful and prosperous societies.
King Rivers is the Founder and President of I Change Nations(TM), a global culture-of-honour movement that has inspired leaders, institutions, and communities in more than 150 countries. Through this initiative he has championed the idea that societies flourish when leaders embrace responsibility, civility, and the recognition of human value.
In recognition of his international humanitarian and leadership contributions, he was enthroned in Ghana as King Okogyeman Kobina Amissah I, Development King at Large of the historic Ekumfi Kuotukwa Kingdom. This role symbolises a bridge between Africa and the global diaspora and reflects his commitment to strengthening cultural identity, heritage, and cooperation among people of African descent around the world.
King Clyde Rivers is also recognised as the Diaspora Monarch of the Royal Diaspora Monarchy, an international royal initiative that promotes unity, dignity, and humanitarian leadership across nations. Through this role he supports cultural diplomacy, global collaboration, and the restoration of honour as a guiding principle for leadership and community development.
An accomplished author, speaker, and mentor, King Rivers has written and contributed to several works on leadership, civility, and royal identity. His writings encourage individuals and institutions to cultivate honour, responsibility, and service as the true foundations of greatness.
Through his royal leadership, humanitarian work, and global advocacy, King Clyde Rivers continues to inspire a worldwide movement of honour, civility, and leadership, encouraging people everywhere to build societies rooted in dignity, justice, and respect for humanity.
