Synopsis :

My goal in this book is to share my images of Conesus Lake, as it is now. It is a beautiful place, it is a friendly place, and it is my home. My images are my way of showing, and sharing, what life on Conesus Lake is like. My passion is photography; Conesus Lake and the surrounding area are my inspiration and muse.

À propos de l'auteur: Rich is a lifelong resident of this area, spending most of his summers while growing up, on Keuka Lake. The Finger Lakes, Genesee Valley, and Southern-tier regions of New York have been an inspiration to his work. His photography is his interpretation of this region. He has enjoyed photography since childhood, starting with an old Kodak Brownie, a series of Kodak Instamatics and migrating to film SLR’s, and now shoots with a DSLR. He started Mr. E Photography about five years ago to showcase his work. He is currently the Image Chairman of the Genesee Valley Photography Society, which is a member of the Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Clubs, and Associate Organizer of the Rochester Photo Editing Meetup Group. Richard gives instruction in photography and provides a full range of services including: Wedding, Sporting & Event Photography, as well as photo-restoration, scanning, touchup and archiving. His images have been published in the Capture Rochester [2009 & 2010] project, and RocViews: Looking at Rochester Far and Wide [2013] project, both sponsored by the Rochester D & C newspaper. He has had numerous images published in that newspaper as their Panoramic feature. Many other images have been published in several local newspapers as well. He also has a number of his images on various web sites, local, national and international, has written articles and provided images for sites including: http://www.onlyinyourstate.com/states/new-york/. His images can be found at northcountrypublicradio.org, outdoorcanada.ca, globalcruiseship.com, arstechnica.com & conabio.inaturalist.org, among others. Rich has a permanent gallery at the Oak Valley Inn in Geneseo and has displayed at many other local galleries, including Geneva Federal Credit Union. He has exhibited in Rochester’s High Falls Gallery, Image City, and the George Eastman House, Where We Live. Mr.E Photography is a regular participant in many local Arts & Crafts shows, including the Conesus Lake Association show, Letchworth Arts and Crafts, Corn Hill Arts & Craft, Rochester Public Market, and Rochester’s Lilac Festival.
