Alongside Orthodox Christians, Muslims and Jews, Catholics lived in nearly every area of the Balkan Peninsula in the 16th and 17th centuries. The great religious revolution of the early modern age, confessionalization, did not leave the Balkan Catholics untouched. Unlike the Christian confessional states of Europe, the Ottoman Empire, with Islam as its state religion, neither assisted nor impeded the formation of denominations, but put many obstacles in the way of their institutional growth. The confessionalization of Catholics in the European frontier regions of the Ottoman Empire thus resulted in a peripheral and unestablished Catholicism. This book explores the peculiarities of this local Catholic confessionalization in the Balkans through a micro-analytical approach. The prime objective of the book is to contribute through an exploration of the history of the Balkan Catholics to the renewal of research into the early modern Mediterranean world. Effets de la rétractation

Le délai est respecté si vous renvoyez les marchandises avant l'expiration du délai de 14 jours. Vous devrez prendre en charge les frais directs du renvoi des marchandises. Vous n'êtes responsable que de toute diminution de valeur des marchandises résultant d'une manipulation autre que celle nécessaire pour établir la nature, les caractéristiques et le fonctionnement des marchandises.
Exceptions au droit de rétractation

Orders are usually shipped within one week from the date of order. Therefore please add the just mentioned week to the estimated delivery time.
The shipping costs are based on books weighting 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavier than 2.2 LB, or 1 KG or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.
Import and Customs expenses (if due) will be charged when the parcel reach the Country of destination. These costs must be paid by the customer. Libreria Nardecchia has no control on these expenses as they vary for each Country (for more information we suggest to contact the Custom authorities at destination Country).
