Author of Cool Nature, also in the Cool series, she has also authored, co-authored and ghostwritten several dozen other books on natural history, and contributes regularly to BBC Wildlife magazine and the Yorkshire Post. She lives in North Yorkshire.

Born in the north-east of England and now living in London, Damien Weighill is renowned for his quirky and fun illustrations. He has worked with a wide and international range of clients including Adidas, Ford and The Guardian.
