DWIJESH DUTTA MAJUMDER, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus, Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He is a well-known pioneer in the field of computer science research and develop-ment and has published more than four hundred papers in this area.
