Suffolk Regt. in the Eicld; Administrative Orders-Bn. the Suffolk Regt.The diary opens at Eecke on 1 November 1915. 1915 is spent at Eecke. 1916 at Caestre, Petit Difques, Courcelles and Mericourt. 1917 at Arras, Bullecourt, Morchies and Trench. 1918 at Hinges, Trench, Wancourt-Guemappe Sect, Hendecourt No 5 Camp and Blaireville. 1919 at Gymnych, Cologne, Dansweile and Gymnich. It closes on 28 May 1919. Arras is where it spent longest, 108 days across eight separate stays, it came back to Hinges eleven separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 57 days at Gymnych.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Serre Sector Of The Trenches, Bus Wood and Breslau Trenches Montauban.In 1916 it is also recorded at Hauteville, The Bluff, Poperinghe, St Eloi, Reninchelst, Phincboom, Kemmel, Locre, Nortbecourt and Breslau Trenches Montauban. In 1917 it is also recorded at Serre, Courcelles, Rubempre, Puchevillers, Pernois, Halloy Les Pernois, Amplier, Neuvillette, Nuncq and Chelers.
