What if a prince could not be punished... and another boy had to suffer in his place?

Inside the Palace of Versailles, young Louis-Charles-the Dauphin of France-lives a life of luxury, untouched by consequence. Every mistake he makes is paid for by another.

That boy is Deupaul.

Poor, hungry, and bound by duty, Deupaul serves as the Dauphin's Whipping Boy-enduring pain so the future king never has to. For Deupaul, each day is a gamble between survival and suffering, driven by one simple truth: his family depends on him.

But when a punishment goes too far and nearly costs Deupaul his life, something begins to change.

For the first time, the Dauphin sees the cost of his actions.

What follows is an unexpected bond between two boys from opposite worlds-one born to rule, the other born to endure. As friendship begins to take root, the young prince must confront questions no crown can answer:

What is fairness?

What is honor?

And what does it truly mean to lead?

Set against the growing unrest of revolutionary France, The Lost Dauphin - Episode One is a powerful story of courage, sacrifice, and the awakening of a boy who must choose between privilege... and what is right.
