A propos de cet article

With a preface by Jon Steven McGroarty, noted California historian, this is an autobiographical story of William Lewis Manly, who spent a couple of years as a young man trapping and hunting in Michigan and Wisconsin, and later set out to California with a party of other Gold Rush pioneers, and of the troubles they had upon reaching Death Valley, the hottest spot in the United States.
