Larisa Khomenko (Lora Kozorovitskaya), being outstanding athletic gymnast, graduated from Lvov Polytechnical Institute and became a professional computer programmer. She delighted herself in this profession for many years. However, through the years, it was evident that her love for writing dominated her heart. She was saved in 1992 in the International Mission named Christ is the Answer and began her Christian journey as a secretary and interpreter in one of the Calvary Chapel Churches planted in Kiev. A long, some time difficult but always wonderful path has been passed with the Lord. She is preparing to publish a book of her testimony and memoirs. Larisa has worked as an editor for a Russian newspaper in the United States, she is an author of twenty five editorial articles, she has translated American books and published thirteen poetry books of her own for adults and children. She has also released three audio CD's with her poems and songs. Delve Into Your Heart - is a name for Devotionals she started in 2016. From 2016 to 2022 she released 12 books in this seriese (January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December ) in Russian language, and four (January, February, March and April) - in English. Larisa Khomenko is an author of more then 3000 deep and profound poetry and prose works, she is known in social nets as a сhristian poet and writer, a promoter of active prayer life and street witnessing, she has great plans of spreading the Gospel for the future. She lives in Philadelphia, PA, has two adult children and two grandchildren. Since May 2010 Larisa was running a Poetry Place, that became very popular among Russian poets, writers and amateurs as well. Since the end of 2016 Poetry Place performs its own concerts and presentations, that attracted each time more and more people. In 2020, after almost 10 years of existence, the Poetry Place was closed due to quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Since 2011 Larisa is also the coordinator of interchurch Prayer Ministry and secretary-coordinator of One Heart fellowship, for Slavic Churches of the American East Coast.
