Chipping, foxing, edge wear and closed tears on jacket; lower front jacket flap significantly clipped. Binding tight, text clean and unmarked. Scarce signed and in such good condition with jacket. Edvard (also spelled Eduard) Benes was the President of Czechoslovakia from 1935 to 1938 and then again from 1939 to 1948 (from 1939 to 1946 he was the leader of the Czechoslovak government-in-exile during World War II).
