With an extra spine label on rear paste-down. "Huxley" is written on the spine label. Spine ends are slightly worn. The fore-edge is a little spotted, and there is a small speck in margin on two pages. Contents are otherwise clean and bright. This is No. 40 of 210 numbered copies printed on Italian handmade paper. The play was originally published in 1763. With bookplate of Stanley William Sykes on front paste-down. With the signature of Teddy Brunius (1922-2011), who was professor of philosophy at State University of New York 1969-1973, and professor of art history at Copenhagen University 1973-1992.
