A propos de cet article

Very Good softcover. Bright, clean covers and spine; tightly bound; 1 interior page has small paperclip rust stain and another page has small marginal note in red marker, otherwise bright, crisp, clean interior. Articles on: 'What Socialists Would Do in America'; Vietnam and Cambodia; limits of growth; family life; 'Proposition 13: Screwing the Poor'; more. Contributors include: Michael Harrington, Kenneth J. Arrow, Noam Chomsky, Hans J. Morgenthau, Luther Carpenter, Sheila M. Rothman, Harold Myerson, others. Interior margin note is from Ernie Erber who had an article in the following issue of Dissent (Winter 1979). Laid in are several pages and scraps of notes from Erber outlining a 'Letter to Harrington' in relation to Harrington's article in this issue 'What Socialist Would Do in America'. Erber's bio in next issue notes he was 'an urban and regional planner, [and] director of Research and Program Planning for the National Committee Against Discrimination in Housing in Washington, DC'. In the past he had been a national leader of the Young People's Socialist League in the early 1930s and later editor of Socialist Appeal, which was the organ of the Trotskyist left faction within the Socialist Party of America during 1936-1937. 8vo, 118 pp. …
