A propos de cet article

A Dissertation on the Influence of a Change of Climate in Curing Diseases. By James Gregory and published in Philadelphia by Thomas Dobson. 1815. 212 pp. 8.75” x 5.5”. 8vo. Hardcover contemporary full leather. As-is, with front board mostly detached. Scuffing along edges and corners of exterior. Text block as a whole remains bound well. Light markings. Ex-library from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, with bookplate at front, name holepunched through title page, and additional markings. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece by Edinburgh professor James Gregory on the benefits of utilizing different climates as a remedy to diseases. A nice reading copy or great candidate for restoration.
