À propos de l?auteur: Upon receiving Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1989, Dr. Melrose Blake-Bethea has lived a life of having continual divine interruptions. Each trial has served as a tool to stimulate growth, develop dependency on the Lord, foster intimacy with the Father and fashion her to become a capable minister of the Gospel. Understanding that God is the Balm in Gilead and the Physician Healer, Dr. Bethea deems it her duty to herald that God heals both naturally and spiritually. She is the co-pastor and founder of God's Life Christian Church (GLCC) in Irvington, NJ and Ewa Beach, Hawaii, along with her husband Bishop Calvin L. Bethea. She is dedicated and committed to living a life of prayer and intercession. Therefore, she believes in being a doer of the word and not a hearer or repeater. To that end, she oversees the intercessory ministry at the church. In addition, she provides oversight to the King's Kids Children's Church, Hospitality Ministry, the Free Supermarket and Virtuous Women's Fellowship. She is the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Rutgers University. To further her education, she attended the New York College of Podiatry Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. After completing a surgical residency, God interrupted Dr. Bethea's career and impressed upon her to build a church with her husband for His glory.In her effort to serve the Body of Christ, Dr. Bethea is co-owner of Hawaii Christian Outlet (HCO). HCO is a Christian resource center with a mission to equip Christians for the work of the ministry with training materials, study aides, evangelistic tools and personal development resources for children and adults. She is also the chief editor for God's Life Publishing, which is a ministry of GLCC to assist Christian authors to publish their books.
