Janet Hogan Chapman, aka GeorgiaJanet, is a self-proclaimed Bohemian Southern Belle. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and has lived in different locations around the city throughout her life. She holds five college degrees, including a doctorate of education. She is a lover of all things southern and enjoys traveling, genealogy, reading, and the outdoors. She likes spending time with family and friends, including her six grandchildren. In addition to professional education resources, essays, poetry, and blog posts, Janet’s previous publications include her first novel, Madam May: A tale of madams, morphine, moonshine, and murder; and a focused memoir, This Teacher Talks. Launching along with Dorothy May will be a novella, After Madam May. It is bridges May’s life from the conclusion of Madam May until her death in 1963.
