Dr. Nick Beck was my Uncle and before he taught college journalism he was a boxer then a sports writer then a reporter for The Associated Press. He was a reporter at the Watts riots and grew up in Hollywood. His life was these books. I only have what was left after the Christies auctions. His books and home sale fund a journalism scholarship. I am a Dad of twins without a Mom trying to find a good home for these wonderful books.
