Bradley. 4to, approximately 290 x 230 mm, 11 x 9 inches, head and tail pieces, pictorial initials, 33 engraved plates, 11 double page plates showing 19 separate numbered plates plus 14 numbered full page plates, plate 18 faces page 132, some duplicate numbering, 4 and 23 repeated but no duplication of images, the last plate in the books is numbered 31 but there are 33 plates counting the duplicated numbers. Pages: [24], 1-314, [4]-Index, bound in full calf, both covers are original, rebacked with a new later spine, endpapers replaced at some time. Spine faded, cover rubbed and scuffed, pale browning to title page and final page, small water stain to top margins of index, pale browning to top margins, ink splash on page 36, some letters ink in (see attached image), pale offset and pale age-browning to a few plates, occasional small spot, a good copy only.
