A propos de cet article

Stated: Expanded Edition 1972; First Princeton Paperback Printing 1972. Soft cover in very good condition with interior text block clean & tight; no writings, no markings noted. Wraps are complete and intact but show shelf and edge wear, light age toning; wrinkles to the top of rear cover. * From the author's Preface, "This book interprets the problems and prospects of American community life, using field studies conducted by sociologists during the past half century. Familiarizing ourselves with many such patterns helps to nourish the kind of sociological imagination needed for examining the contrasts between myths and realities in our own communities. We should not let the fact that we cannot predict the exact outcome of the present eclipse dissuade us from trying to see as far ahead as we possibly can. . . . ".…
