The study of economic development was borne out of an extension to traditional economics that focused entirely on national product, or the aggregate output of goods and services. Understanding economics is important for our society to continue its rapid development. The level of economic development in a country may be measured by considering levels of public welfare, education, health and liberty. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Sukanta Sarkar (MA,PhD) is working as Assistant Professor in Faculty of Management Studies, ICFAI University, Agartala Tripura. He did bachelor, master degree and doctorate in Economics. He qualified UGCNET Exam in December/2006. He presented many research papers in various seminars, conferences and symposiums. Various research papers have been published in foreign and national journals. He also previously worked as visiting lecturer in National Institute of Technology, Agartala and Tripura University. Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1Kgm. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We give extra discount for the bulk purchase orders. Our prices includes shipping charges. The customer do not have to pay any extra charges at the time of delivery but if your Country charges VAT and customs that has to be born by the customer.
