This collection includes highly coloured yet subtle work from artist and embroiderer Elian McCready which has previously only been available in kit form, as well as six new creations. The projects are worked in tent stitch and long stitch, and colour charts and photographs make the instructions easy to follow. Materials for each project are detailed and there is advice on stitching and making up.

À propos de l?auteur: Elian McCready is an artist working in textile embroidery. After gaining a BA in Fine Art and photography, she discovered the medium of pictorial woven tapestry. On winning the Winston Churchill Travel Fellowship in 1985, she visited Egypt and has remained strongly influenced by its colourful free woven tapestry murals. After a period working for Kaffe Fasset, Elian became self-employed and since 1991 has designed needlepoint kits for the renowned Ehrman Kits company, establishing herself as one of their leading designers. She lives in Conwy, North Wales.
