The book itself has no discernable wear, but the spine has a very faint forward lean. Decorative tan endpapers covered with Kanji. Bidning almost straight and still very tight. Pages are clean, white, and crisp. 449 pages. Illustrated with a handsome gallery of photographs of the shu fa pieces in the John B. Elliott Collection of calligraphy. Dust Jacket - has just a trace of rubbing at the front corner of the tail of the spine and at the very tips of the four outside corners - otherwise clean, bright, and sharp.
