Contents good, most of the pages being clean; but it is a practical book, and is plainly marked by kitchen activity. 18.5x11cms, in the original brown cloth boards decorated in gilt with the illustration from the engraved title: this is extremely rubbed. There is a recent spine of dark cloth with a simple printed label. A very good firm copy.
