A propos de cet article

Copper-engraving, landscape format on wove paper, (image 165x221mm on paper 210x270mm), slightly browned round the margins and frayed at the edges, with a tear (repaired) in the right-hand margin cutting the plate mark but not affecting the image. A fine view of this historic Hertfordshire house which was in the possession of both Henry VII and Henry VIII and was rebuilt several times over the years. The building is noteworthy for being the site of 'The fatal vespers' when during a sermon a chamber floor collapsed under the weight of 300 people or whom 94 are reported to have died. Please note that the advised postage is based on an average book, if possible the postage will be reduced to the correct amount and you will be notified by email.
