Environmental, Social, Governance and Digital Transformation in Organizations

Andreia de Bem Machado (PhD in Engineering and Knowledge Management)- Researcher at the Innovation Intelligence, Management and Technology Research Centre - IGTI at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Adjunct professor and research coordinator at Faculdade Anasps Brasília - Brazil. Evaluator of higher education institutions for the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Director of Education at the Municipal Department of Education in Palhoça - Santa Catarina - Brazil. She was part of the technical committee for the Ministry of Education's National Textbook Programme. She has developed teaching materials for people with low vision at UNESCO. Her research interests include: innovation, education, digital transformation, management, hybrid education, digital technologies, active methodology, knowledge media, entrepreneurship, knowledge management, digital transformation and Environmental, Social and Governance.

Maria José Sousa (Ph.D. in Management) is a University Professor and a research fellow at ISCTE. Her research interests currently are public policies and political science, innovation and business management issues. She is a best seller author in ICT and People Management and has co-authored over 70 articles and book chapters and published in several scientific journals (e.g. Journal of Business Research, UAIS, Future Generations Computer Systems, Journal of Medical Systems, I. J. of Knowledge, Culture and Change Management, Knowledge Management, Wseas Transactions on Business and Economics, Information Systems Frontiers and others), she has organized and peer-reviewed international conferences. She is also External Expert of COST Association - European Cooperation in Science and Technology.

Andrea Brambilla Architect, PhD and Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and the Built Environment (DABC), Design & Health Lab. Assistant Professor in "Health and Sustainability for the Built Environment" at the School of Architecture Urban planning Construction engineering (AUIC), Politecnico di Milano. Scientific Secretariat of the Joint Research Partnership Healthcare Infrastructure (JRP HI) promoted by Politecnico di Milano, Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, private companies and institutions in the healthcare sector. Author of 36 publications in scientific journals, invited and selected speaker at over 50 national/international conferences and seminars on the relationship between the Built Environment, Technological Innovation, Sustainability and Public Health.

Antonio Pesqueira is an experienced business and academic leader in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutical operations, with a focus on technology advancements and process optimization. He has pioneered various initiatives in commercial excellence and analytical strategies, tailoring training programs for commercial teams. Pesqueira holds academic positions and is actively involved in the Ph.D. program at ISCTE/IUL in the Technology and Architecture Research Department. His research encompasses digital technologies, healthcare data management, and the intersection of innovation, capabilities, and business. Notably, he has chaired significant forums and frequently headlines major industry events. As an author, Pesqueira has co-authored over 20 articles in esteemed journals and has been a critical reviewer for prominent publications, demonstrating his vast expertise in digital transformation, healthcare digitalization, and agile project management.

Álvaro Rocha holds the title of Honorary Professor, and holds a D.Sc. in Information Science, Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Management, and BCs in Computer Science. He is a Professor of Information Systems at the University of Lisbon - ISEG, researcher at the ADVANCE (the ISEG Centre for Advanced Research in Management), and a collaborator researcher at both LIACC (Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science) and CINTESIS (Center for Research in Health Technologies and Information Systems). His main research interests are maturity models, information systems quality, online service quality, requirements engineering, intelligent information systems, e-Government, e-Health, and information technology in education. He is also Vice-Chair of the IEEE Portugal Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of two Scopus and SCIMago journals: JISEM - Journal of Information Systems Engineering & Management; and RISTI - Revista Ibérica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informação / Iberian Journal of Information Systems and Technologies. Additionally, he is the Scientific Manager of the Information Systems Engineering & Management book series at Springer-Verlag, the world's leading publisher of publications in Science, Technology and Health. Moreover, he has served as Vice-Chair of Experts for the European Commission's Horizon 2020 Program, and as an Expert at the COST - intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, at the European Commission's Horizon Europe Program, at the Government of Italy's Ministry of Universities and Research, at the Government of Latvia's Ministry of Finance, at the Government of Mexico's National Council of Science and Technology, at the Government of Polish's National Science Centre, and at the Government of Cyprus's Research and Innovation Foundation.
