The Buddhism is one of the three major religions in the world along with Christianity and Islam. The most popular of the Buddhism is in the areas of the south-east Asia including China.
China actually has the two major Buddhist system today that the Chinese Buddhism, originated from India of Asia, and the Tibetan Buddhism, which flourished in Tibet in the 8th century AD, was also introduced from India.
There is one difference between Buddhism and the other religious groups in the world, is that the number of the Buddhist scriptures are difficult to accurately count. Therefore, Buddhism is a highly academic discipline
The Chan Buddhism is the first important school in the original Buddhist group of India Asia，for it inherited the essences of the Buddha's ideas. He was the 28th master, named Bodhidharma. After passed the thought of the Indian Chan Buddhism over China, he was respected the 1st became the master of the Chinese Chan Buddhism. He founded a newly interested teaching notion that was ‘without sutras learning, just directly cultivate the mind’.
On one hand, the Buddhist cultivation of Chicness was injected into the new blood at that times; and on the other hand, the idea caused a huge shocking in the Chinese Buddhist community. His student huiko, because for the Buddhist believers that ‘everyone have the Buddha’s nature, everyone can be able to reach the realm of Buddha', the Buddha is in your mind, do not need to worship the Buddha that out your body’.
The ideas seriously impacted the mainstream Buddhist thought that worshiped the Buddhist idols with the scriptures studying at that times, for the Buddhism had only been passed over China for about 500 years at the time. He was sentenced to death for this.
Actually, the contents of the speech is the public thought of Buddha when he lived. Is for this reason, the Chinese Chan Buddhism is with the less and less religious color, and thus is without the mysterious color.
The 6th master of Chinese Chan Buddhism, Huineng，he made a further point of view, that the realm of 'Seeing the Self-nature' was impossible to get in the meditations, for the method practicing of the meditation only was a tool for beneficial to you could reach the state of 'cultivating mind by your mind'.
Because, the Buddha when he living, he was a people, but he and a small part of his students got the realm of
‘Seeing the Self-nature’, the realm so that also called seeing the Buddha’s nature.
As for reaching the realm of seeing the Buddha’s nature, Huineng renewed the classical idea of the Chan cultivation. In his thought, ’do not need in the temple for the enlightenment'; the true meaning of it is to get the realm can be in the daily life. This idea has been recognized by many and more of the Chinese practitioners in contemporary.
The word of Zen refers to the Japanese style Zen Buddhism, is different from the Chinese Chan Buddhism. The central subject of the Chan Buddhism is the 'mind'. What is the mind? It is a common question of the Buddhists. Actually, the state of the mind is very difficult to be directly descried. So, said that the Chan Buddhism is very difficult to learn, the key point is this.
But, as you perceive the state of your consciousness under a certain condition, you basically get the general realm of the Chan cultivation. Perspective from this point to see the Chan cultivation, is that a very easy way to the people.
The purpose of the book through the analysis of the essence of the Chan enlightenment, the mechanisms of the Chan practices and the general ideas of the Chan cultivations from the perspective of multiple knowledge, hoping that those who are interested to achieve the realm of the Chan Buddhism.

We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
