First edition. 239x154mm. pp. 64. Original paper wrappers illustrated with a drawing of a Greek temple and a photograph of a naked woman. Slight creasing to the edges of the upper cover but otherwise in very good condition. Internally near fine with the photographs in superb condition. Ten pages of text (in German) and 48 black and white photographs by many of the leading photographers of the nude in 1920s German including Lotte and Rolf Herrlich and Dr Ernst Schertel. The text explores some of the moral and ethical questions raised by public nudity.
