In need of rebinding, with the spines of two volumes missing and the others worn; the buyer will not want to sit these books in his/her lap because of leather dust; there is intermittent foxing, sometimes heavy; some wear to the first section of both Genesis and Matthew, with some amateur mending in Matthew with cloth tape; the remainder of the internal bindings seem to be in good order. These were a project printed in Ireland under the auspices of David Alfred Doudney, editor of the Gospel Magazine; he set up an Industrial Printing School employing some 30 young Irishmen in the village of Bonmahon, where he ministered, and trained them up to be compositors and printers.
