Keith Meyer, MD, FAAP is the Medical Director of Nicklaus Children's LifeFlight(c) Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Services in Miami, Florida. With over 20 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care and Transport Medicine, he has dedicated his career to improving the care of critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients during transport.
Dr. Meyer has been an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Transport Medicine (SOTM) since 2006, serving on the executive committee and as Chairperson from 2014 to 2018. His contributions include developing resources and guidelines that have shaped the practice of transport medicine.
An accomplished author and editor, Dr. Meyer has contributed to five medical textbook publications, including the creation of the McGraw Hill Last Minute Medical Board Review series (2004). He also served as the inaugural editor of the AAP's Field Guide for Air and Ground Transport of Neonatal and Pediatric Patients (2019).
Dr. Meyer continues to focus on advancing education, clinical care, and safety in neonatal and pediatric transport medicine.
