Julie Griffin, is a board certified, international instructor of medical, clinical, and metaphysical hypnosis. She directs The Hypnotherapy Training Company and she founded The International Center for Hypnosis Education and Research. She is skilled in treating physical and emotional pain, PTSD, regression, suicide ideation, depression, phobias, and a wide variety of medical conditions. Her book: Words That Heal, is used in medical hypnotherapy practices in the USA and beyond. Born into a family plagued by chronic pain, Julie has a personal understanding of pain’s deleterious effects. To address this unrelenting need, she developed a powerful, natural endorphin release technique and authored, Endorphin Powered Hypnotherapy, a collection of programs that alleviate physical, emotional, and spiritual pain. Julie is a past recipient of the Hypnosis Educator of the Year Award, based on a worldwide vote. She has also received the Hypnosis Journalism Award from the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Hypno-Innovation Award for Safety and Ethics from the International Association of Counselors & Therapists. Julie has presented hundreds of basic, intermediate, and advanced level hypnosis and self-hypnosis trainings in the United States, Indonesia, and Canada. She was on hand in Indonesia after its catastrophic Tsunami of 2004. There, she taught physicians, psychologists, and clergy, effective techniques she designed to help ease suffering and to prevent air- and water-borne disease.
