À propos de l?auteur: Gary Sheffield is Professor of War Studies at the University of Birmingham. He read History at Leeds University and in 1985 became a lecturer in the Department of War Studies, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He moved to the Joint Services Command and Staff College in 1999 as Senior Lecturer in the Defence Studies Department of King's College London and Land Warfare Historian on the Higher Command and Staff Course. In 2005 King's College London awarded him a Personal Chair as Professor of Modern History.
