Worn half leather binding with gilt titles to a black label, gilt griffin and unicorn to the top compartment, gilt bands, worn and rubbed to the top of the spine with loss, front joint cracked, rear joint partially cracked, marbled paper covered boards and page edges, brown end papers, text block tight, pages tanned with some offsetting from the plates.

Pagination: Pruner ? [vi], 3-277, [1]pp, with 8 plates collated and complete. Planter ? xii, 9-230pp, with a frontispiece.

Provenance: inscription by Jas Ackers to the title of Pruner and page 9 of Planter.

Approximately 8 ¾ inches tall (22cm).
