What's the best thing about losing something? The happy feeling you get when you find it again, as Rabbit discovers in this truly delightful peek-through story from a masterful picture-book creator.

The sun is shining when Rabbit wakes up--a perfect day for a walk! But when it's time to get dressed, only one sock can be found. Is the other one under the bed? No, but look, there's a nice warm hat. How about inside the closet? Not there either, but how about that beautiful tutu! As Rabbit comes up empty-handed in the search for a matching sock, each location yields another discovery and another item to add to the outfit of the day. And running into friends Squirrel and Mouse outside brings the best discovery yet! With deeply saturated colors and a touch of scribbly line, Petr Horácek's warm and gentle peek-through adventure will entice little readers to visit Rabbit again and again.

Petr Horácek grew up in Prague and trained as a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter. He has written and illustrated many books for children, including Animal Opposites, Strawberries Are Red, The Greedy Goat, Puffin Peter, The Best Place in the World, and Who Is the Biggest?
