Who doesn't want to. You know the problem yourself. You can understand a little French, but can only form the most basic of sentences, let alone take active part in a French conversation. You have learnt the vocabulary but can't remember it in the heat of the moment. You are not confident in the language. This new, improved and reworked CD language course is exactly the thing for you. You can learn practically and without any problems, with authentic dialogues in modern French as it is spoken at bank counters, in every cafe or in the family About the structure of the course: At the start of each chapter you will hear a jingle which will introduce the new chapter. This is designed on the pedagogical basis of helping the learner to concentrate and bring the concentration to bear on the topic in hand. Then the most important figures of speech in the chapter will be spoken aloud in French. You can repeat and learn. Thus you will have already learned the vocabulary for the exercises. You also have the opportunity to do the same with the dialogues and to check your pronunciation. The dialogues revolve around daily and typical scenes which are to be met with on holiday or on business. There follow detailed exercises dealing with the dialogue and which can be used to improve your vocabulary and grammar skills according to the latest French usage. Through the variety of the short exercises, the concentration is focussed on the most important parts. In the illustrated accompanying book you can read everything which is spoken on the CD's. Additionally the various grammatical points are explained clearly in English. There is also an additional part dealing with aspects of life and customs in France and how best to cope verbally in such situations. Plus there is the opportunity to correct the written exercises.
